The act of Nagaland Land of the Acquisition and Requisition Act, 1965 is applicable to the entire state of Nagaland. And also applies to the deputy commissioners.

Secretary: The secretary has the power to have the complete authority of supervision and maintaining affairs of the department. All the files are submitted to the secretary for approval and regarding any change in land records. If there is any correction in any file then it is resubmitted.

Joint Secretary:
the power and duties of Joint Secretary are the joint secretaries have administrative functions. All the files are sanded to higher authorities are first sanded to the Joint Secretary for checking and give a clear picture of the subject matter. And then sanded to a higher authority for a final decision.

Superintendent:
the superintendent is the section officer of the branch whose work is to direct and control the whole branch’s working system. The officer also maintains the attendance of department staff. And also check that the whole department is completing its duties as per law.
